Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bahawalpur, President Shakir Mirza has said the PPP will continue its struggle for the restoration of sustainable democracy, judiciary and the supremacy of law. Talking to newsmen here, he said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was a hope of success and a sign of marvellous confidence, courage and success for the female politicians and party workers.
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto gave sacrifice of her life while struggling against the dictatorship following the footsteps of her father Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for purging the country from the remains of dictatorship, he added. He said the government was formulating positive policies to control the price hike and unemployment besides, curbing the menace of flour and energy crisis in the country.
He said situation needed all the political parties to join the hands of the government for the promotion of durable and real democracy, adding the step would help strengthening the democratic norms and values in the country. He said this was need of the hour that all political parties of the country should be united and they should shun their differences for the welfare of the people.
