Six-time National Champion Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) will take on Nepal Police Club (NPC) in fourth AFC President's Cup Qualifiers (Group-A) at Malaysia's MBPJ Stadium, a multi-use stadium in Petaling Gaya (Selangor) on Tuesday.
Group A was originally scheduled to be played in April at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu but an alternative venue had to be found after Nepal withdrew as hosts due to the political situation in the Himalayan nation.
NPC, who were runners-up at last year's AFC President's Cup when they were known as Mahendra Police Club, kicked off the action on Sunday when they thrashed Bangladesh outfit Abahani Limited 4-0 while former champions Regar Tadaz worked hard to beat Pakistan's Wapda 2-1.
With only two teams - two-time defending champions from Kyrgyzstan Dordoi-Dynamo and Turkmenistan's Ashgabat - punching their tickets to the semi-finals so far, there is all to play for the four teams until the curtains fall on the qualifying campaign on June 26.
