Six countries' envoys present credentials to President

The Ambassadors and High Commissioners designate of Mexico, Chile, Serbia, Namibia, Malta and Bhutan to Pakistan presented their credentials to President Pervez Musharraf here on Wednesday. After presenting their credentials at an impressive ceremony held here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the envoys called on the President separately and discussed bilateral as well as matters of mutual interest.
Earlier, upon arrival of Arturo Hemandez-Bassave, Ambassador designate of Mexico, Francisco Marambio Vial, Ambassador designate of Chile, Miomir Udovicki, Ambassador designate of Serbia, Leonard Nombahu, Ambassador designate of Namibia, Carl Xuerab, High Commissioner designate of Malta and Tshering Dorji, Ambassador designate of Bhutan at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the national anthems of Pakistan and their respective countries were played. The envoys were presented guard of honour by smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army. They inspected the guard of honour and took salute.
