Kashmir dispute has assumed extraordinary importance at international level and the world community is cognisant of the fact that an immediate and amicable solution of the dispute is imperative for the peace and stability in South Asia. These views were expressed at European Parliament Building in Brussels on the commencement of the Kashmir Week during a press conference.
MP James Elles, MP Chris Davies, the President of AJK, Raja Zulqarnain and the Executive Director of Kashmir Centre Brussels and Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo addressed the press conference, KMS reported.
They underlined the need to include Kashmiris' genuine leadership in the dialogue process between Pakistan and India. Meanwhile, Kashmiri delegation including the President of AJK, Raja Zulqarnain, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl and Shiekh Tajammul-ul-Islam held meetings with different parliament members of Belgium and apprised them about human rights violations by Indian troops, particularly the recent discovery of unnamed mass graves in the occupied territory.
