July corn was up 22 cents at $7.52 per bushel, new-crop December was up 23 at $7.88. Excessive rainfall and flooding in the US Midwest boosting prices, along with higher crude oil and weak dollar.
Forecasts for more rain in already saturated crop areas leading to concerns about further harm to the US corn crop. July 2009 contract sets a new all-time high for the corn market at $8.16-1/4.
