Punjab Population Welfare Minister, Neelam Jabbar Chaudhry has said that the government is patronising the traders' community and its best trade and industrial discipline have put Pakistan on the road to progress and prosperity. Her comments came during the launching of a store on Saturday.
The Minister said the present government is well aware of the requirements of the advance era, therefore the provincial government has given top priority to attract foreign investment in the province. 'The concept of public-private partnership is being promoted in the province through good governance, and economic co-operation programme between the government and the traders would further flourish the trading activities', she maintained.
Further, she said that Pakistan has become an attractive avenue for investment and the new government's investment-friendly policies have resulted in the development of industrial sector and offer good business prospect to multinational companies. In addition, the Minister asked the traders' community to get maximum benefits from the facilities being provided by the government to pull ahead the trade and industry in the province.
