Pablo Larrazabal of Spain won the four million euros French Open at Le Golf National on Sunday. He finished with a closing four-under par 67 for a 15-under total of 269, four strokes clear of Scotland's Colin Montgomerie who came in with a 68.
Third place, a further stroke back went to Soren Hansen of Denmark who had a closing 69. It was 25-year-old Larrazabal's first tournament win in what is his rookie season on the European PGA Tour.
