Senior sports journalist Mukhtar Bhatti has edited and compiled a new book on cricket, "Cricket All-round". The book, which is said to be a highly valuable contribution to the library of sports books, covers World Cup, Champions Trophy, Asia Cup and Twenty20, the new generation gap.
According to Dr Nasim Ashraf, Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Bhatti is a thoroughbred sports historian and his book will be another monumental achievement in the field of literature on cricket.
Former Sindh chief secretary Aslam Sanjrani says that the usefulness and utility of this book has permanent value, both as a guide and memory refresher. In the preface of his book, Bhatti says that the rise of Twnety20 cricket across the world is probably the most significant thing to happen to the sport since the Kerry Packer-led revolution of the late 1970s. Produced and published by Ababeel Publications, Lahore, the book is priced at Rs 400.
