Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), in the light of federal government's directives, will take on an active role in order to assist the police in a grand operation against miscreants and terrorists in the violence-plagued Lyari Town.
In this regard, Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Major General Liaquat Ali on Friday issued necessary directives to the concerned ranger officials to formulate a viable strategy along with police in order to achieve the desired objectives of eliminating the criminal elements from the Town.
The rangers' contingents along with police will formulate a comprehensive operational plan keeping in view the densely populated localities in the Town to avoid any collateral human losses. DG Rangers has called upon the people to extend all possible co-operation to law enforcement agencies in order to eliminate the menace of terrorism and crimes and to put their area on the track to peace, tranquillity and progress.
