LHC orders SI to appear before court

The Lahore High Court has ordered sub-inspector of the CIA Kotwali to appear before court on July 14 in a petition against him alleging his involvement in the abduction of a child. Petitioner Akhter had filed a habeas corpus petition submitting that some armed men entered his house, ruined all household items and they took along his minor son.
The petitioner claimed that CIA Kotwali SI Khadim Sindhu was involved in the abduction of his son. Previously, Justice Hasnat Ahmed had issued notices to SI twice but he did not turn up as a result of which he again asked to appear before the court on July 14. He told the court that the Sessions judge had issued orders for registration of FIR against the SI for his alleged involvement in the abduction of the minor.
