The Board of Directors of HBL Assets Management, the Management Company of HBL, Income Fund, HBL Stock Fund, HBL Multi-Asset Fund in its meeting held on July 5, 2008 declared results for its funds for the year ended June 30, 2008. The Board approved final dividend of Rs 2.40 per Unit for HBL.
Income Fund in the form of Bonus Units for Class 'A' and Class 'B' Units and Cash dividend of Rs 2.40 per unit for Class 'C' unit for the year ended June 30, 2008. The bonus units will be issued at the ex-dividend price of Rs 100.17 per Unit. Those Unit holders who have opted for bonus Units will be eligible for 2.3959 Units for every 100 Units held.
The Fund had earlier paid interim dividend/bonus of Rs 6.80 per Unit in April 2008. The HBL Income Fund has offered an annualised return of 9.28 percent (inclusive of dividend and appreciation in Unit price) for the year ended June 30, 2008.
For HBL Stock Fund the Board has declared dividend of Rs 5.85 per Unit in the form of Bonus Units for Class 'A' and Class 'B' Units and Cash dividend of Rs 5.85 per Units for Class 'C' Unit for the period ended June 30, 2008. Those Unit holders who have opted for bonus Units will be eligible for 6.312 Units for every 100 Units held at the Ex-dividend price of Rs 92.68 per Unit.
The HBL Stock Fund was offered for initial public offering in August 2007 at Rs 100 per Unit. The closing Net Asset Value per Unit of the Fund was Rs 98.53 on June 30, 2008. HBL Multi Asset Fund was offered for initial public offering (IPO) from 14-17 December 2007. The fund was operational for slightly over six months during the period under review.
The Board has declared final dividend at Rs 4.00 per Unit in the form of Bonus Units for Class 'A' and Class 'B' Units and Cash dividend of Rs 4.00 per Unit for Class 'C' Unit for the period ended June 30, 2008. Unit holders who have opted for bonus Units will be eligible for 4.2886 Units for every 100 Units held at the Ex-dividend price of Rs 93.27 per Unit.
The HBL Multi Asset Fund, a Balanced Fund, was offered at Rs 100 per Unit in December 2007 and the Net Asset Value per Unit was Rs 97.27 as on June 30, 2008. The sale and redemption of all the above three funds will start from July 8, 2008.-PR
