Complete shutter down was observed in Dhadar, district headquarters of Bolan against abduction of Hindu trader on Friday. The strike was observed on the call of local traders union and remained peaceful as a result of effective security arrangements on the part of law enforcement agencies. Trader Sundip runs a grocery shop in the local bazaar and was kidnapped on his way home on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, the Hindu community demanded of the concerned for taking concrete measures against the elements involved in kidnapping. They said street crimes are on rise in the area for the past many months but no effective step has been taken in this regard.
