Country's economy deteriorating: people critical of government performance, scrawny policies
People belonging to different walks of life have strongly criticised the pitiable performance and scrawny policies of the government as a result of which the economic condition of the country is deteriorated. The graph of price hike has been increased to many folds resultantly the common man was facing serious hardships.
The ratio of committing suicide was also increasing in the country. The government was considering establishing utility stores in various parts to facilitate the poor segment of the society but the question is why government was ignoring the middle and salaried classes, which are also hand to mouth.
It is pitiable that rice are being sold at Rs 110 per kg in the rice growing country while mutton Rs 300 per kg and other articles of daily use were being sold at much high cost and beyond the purchasing power of the common man. Apart from this load shedding of electricity was also lashing out the industrial sector adversely and affected the Productivity in the country.
The businessmen were already in a great trouble due to increase in pricee of sui gas, electricity, petroleum. For this reason the production of all exportable items has gone much higher and rendering exporters incompatible and expensive to other supplier countries.
In order to strengthen the industrial sector, government should provide handsome financial subsidy on utility bills to facilitate the business community of the country. The industrial sector was playing instrumental role not only in fetching highly valuable foreign exchange but also provide large-scale employment opportunities to the skilled and unskilled work force in the country.
The government should announce concessions and incentives in upcoming "Trade Policy" for the business community and restore its confidence in the country. Apart from this, special steps should also be taken for extending the facility subsidy of Research and Development that is direly needed to various industrial sectors of the country.
