Dr A.Q. Khan has called for an immediate end to his detention, saying his health is deteriorating with every passing day and his house arrest should be ended with necessary security arrangements. Dr Khan's Counsel Javed Iqbal Jaffri, who called on Dr Khan at his residence to inquire about his health, told media on Monday that Dr Khan's health was worsening with every passing day.
He said that Dr Khan had wished for the solution of his confinement through dialogue, saying it in the largest interest of the country. Jaffari had filed two appeals in Islamabad High Court against confinement of Dr Khan.
