A spokesman of the ISPR on Tuesday said that the officials of Pakistan army have been earmarked and are awaiting deployment at the Torkham Border Centre for the last three weeks for want of pre-deployment procedural formalities to be completed by ISAF/Afghan government.
In response to a statement made by the ISAF officials and published in a section of press on July 12 that they are waiting for the Pakistan military to show up at the Torkham Border Centre, the spokesman said that the matter is being pursued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistan Army to expedite the deployment.
