Pakistan has emerged as one of top markets for Emirates' special Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) packages sold across the global network. According to Emirate's vice-president, Pakistani travellers have shown preference to visit Dubai during the shopping festival. The packages are valid from June 19 to August 22, 2008 and cost from as little as $62.
Emirates' Senior Vice-President Commercial Operations Gulf, Middle East and Iran, Nabil Sultan, says that DSS is growing in popularity as it offers a mix of entertainment, learning for the children and great shopping at bargain prices.
