The Vaccinator Welfare Association (VWA) of District Badin protested in front of the Badin Press Club against their current employment status.
VWA President Ghulam Hussain, General Secretary Syed Karam Ali, Haroon, Younis, Qasim, Nawaz Ali, Azadar Hussain, Sulleman, Haji Murtaza, Sikander Ali, Gulfam and others held a protest rally from the city OPD to the Badin Press Club.
They announced that 750 vaccinators worked in Sindh, 50 are in Badin, but unfortunately they were not considered permanent employees. They compared this to the vaccinators of Punjab who they said have a Rs 6000 salary in scale 6.
The non-permanent vaccinators are receiving only a Rs 2700 salary in Sindh. They said that Prime Minister Gilani has announced that all non-permanent employees of government would become permanent, but the Sindh government was not taking any action in this regard to make their jobs permanent.
