The US Under Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Agricultural Affairs Reuben Jeffery III along with a high ranking delegation called on City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal in his office on Thursday. According to a press release issued on Thursday the US Consul General in Karachi Kay. L Anske was also present during the hour-long meeting.
The delegation exchanged views with City Nazim on the importance of Karachi in the region besides the present economic situation and investment opportunities. Jeffery said that Karachi has covered a long journey to progress within a very short period, which has not only provided better facilities to the citizens but also paved the way for a major increase in the investment.
He said the importance of Karachi could not be ignored as the city has key role in the region. The Nazim Karachi on this occasion apprised the delegation about the development activities going on in the city especially in the industrial zones.-PR
