Speaking about a suicide attack on Indian Embassy in Kabul, M.K. Narayanan, Indian Security Advisor stated, "We have no doubt that the ISI is behind this", then he demanded, "The ISI needs to be destroyed."
Had the gentleman cooled down before giving such a hard-hitting statement, he would have realised that destruction of ISI would create a massive political domino effect in the subcontinent. It might lead to disintegration of Pakistan which in turn would end in disintegration of India.
Somebody should have told him (if he already doesn't know that) how many Indian states are looking for opportunity to get independence. What would happen to Afghanistan and so to Nato forces and American interests, in such a scenario is anybody's guess. ISI is a jugular vessel of Pakistan; the only thing is that instead of answerable to the army chief it should be answerable to the parliament.
