Rice prices held the overnight levels on the grain market on Saturday. Some items traded were mostly lower in process of modest trading, dealers said. Most of the changes were seen on the seed side as rapeseed Mirpurlane low type turned lower by Rs 325 to Rs 1650 and better quality was down by Rs 250 to Rs 1700.
Sugar good type gained Rs 60 to Rs 3060 while low type was unchanged at Rs 2700, they said. Cottonseed oilcake with bag Punjab new shed Rs 20 to Rs 760-780, they added. On the cereals side, Urad Burma quoted lower at Rs 1800-2000 and wheat old and new Bardana were trading at Rs 2300-2315, they said. Grams prices also did not move any side, they added.
