The SAU employees observed token strike and protest against Vice Chancellor as the University affairs has collapsed totally and the government has not taken any notice yet.
Today early in the morning a big crowed of employees started rally from Faculty of Crop Production to V.C Secretariat and staged demonstration, which was addressed by Chairman, Action Committee, Hussain Bux Vessar, Syed Abdul Majeed Shah Rashdi, Karam Ali Puno, Shamsuddin Soomro, Ghulam Hyder Joyo, Shahmir Lochi, Mir Ghulam Hussain and others.
They said that V.C Bashir Sheikh would not be given safe way to run-away without taking accountability of a single rupee generated through corruption by him, his sons and very close associated team members.
They also expressed while addressing employees that Bashir Sheikh always talks of truthfulness, but he tries to provide maximum benefit to the people of his caste.
They also demanded that if corrupt V.C is not removed, they would call All Sindh Universities Federation for protest to show their unity with SAU employees for their struggle to gain genuine rights successful. The corrupt son of V.C Dr Saghir Sheikh, while talking with press said that they have completed all the demands of employees, but few employees who are instigated by local political leaders demanded regarding adjustment of their recommended candidates in jobs has created this situation. In reply of the above statement of Dr Saghir, the leaders of employees said that the V.C himself responsible for this situation.
They requested and appealed Prime Minister of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman, HEC, Governor Sindh and all other high ups to remove the sitting corrupt, old age, V.C and appoint an honest and well reputed personality as V.C of SAU, Tandojam to get the employees free from any mental torture.
