Reinstatement of deposed judges: government not engaged in any backdoor diplomacy, says Naik
Federal Minister for Law, Farooq H. Naik on Saturday said every work would be done in accordance with the parameters of the Constitution and law. Talking to media at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport here, he said the government wants to restore the judges soon and the judges will be restored through a constitutional way.
Naik said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was not delaying the restoration of judges. To a question about taking oath by some deposed judges of Sindh and Lahore High Courts, he said the government was not engaged in any back-door diplomacy.
There was no contact with any deposed judges but it any deposed judge intends to perform his duty, the government will welcome it, the minister added. He said the government wants that all judges take oath in accordance with the Constitution and start their work because the government itself wants restoration of judges.
