Five drown at Hawkesbay beach

Five picnickers including a girl drowned to death in separate incidents at the sea near Hawkesbay beach here, police and hospital sources said. Police sources told APP that total five picnickers drowned to death at sea, where they had gone with their families for picnic.
Bodies of all the deceased have been recovered, including Kamran, 18, Lakshman, 22, Simra, 20, Nafees, 25 and an unknown. Police said the bodies of all identified deceased were handed over to their heirs, while body of an unidentified victim has been shifted to Edhi mortuary pending search for the heirs.
