Ukraine grain exports at 810,000 tonnes

At least 810,000 tonnes of grains were exported from Ukraine in the first three weeks of July, a leading analyst said on Monday. The UkrAgroConsult agriculture consultancy quoted data from ports as showing the volume included 370,000 tonnes of barley, 100,000 of maize and 340,000 of wheat.
It said an additional 110,000 tonnes of grains were likely to be exported in coming weeks. "Barley and maize are in big demand from exporters while wheat purchases are limited. Exporters are ready to buy milling wheat but they notice that supply of high gluten content grains is not very large," the consultancy said in a report.
"At the same time, there is massive supply of feed wheat at a relative lower price. During the week, wheat prices in the central region dropped by $21-$27 to $176-$180 per tonne EXW".
