Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Crescent Commercial Bank Limited (CCBL), a subsidiary of Samba Financial Group, KSA, signed an agreement for installation of first ever financial centre PIA e-ticketing kiosk in the ATM lobby of CCBL branch at Clifton, Karachi.
This state-of-the-art ticketing service will provide PTA customers the convenience of purchasing all domestic tickets 24 hours a day through the CCBL's 24 hours banking lobby.
The agreement was signed by PIA Managing Director Captain Mohammed Aijaz Maroon and CCBL's President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tawfiq A. Hussain at a ceremony, held at PTA head Office on Wednesday. Senior officials of PIA and Crescent Commercial Bank Limited were also present on the occasion.
Captain Aijaz Haroon, speaking on the occasion, said that e-ticketing kiosks were presently installed at the PTA booking offices and major airports in Pakistan. This was the first Kiosk to be installed at a commercial location, he said, and added the installation of kiosk at Cress Bank was a good beginning of an alliance with Crescent Commercial Bank Limited.
Tawfiq A Hussain, sharing his views, said: "I am delighted that the CCBL is the first bank selected by PIA for this important initiative and we look forward to building out rclationship with the national carrier." The ribbon cutting ceremony of this facility will be held at CCBL branch, Clifton, Karachi on Thursday with the PIA Managing Director as the chief guest.-PR
