August 1 is the last day for submission of entry test forms for admission in various disciplines at MA/MSc level, while the last date for submission of entry test forms for admissions in various disciplines at BS (four-year programme) is August 4. The entry tests for MA/MSc level admissions will commence from August 4, while of BS programmes will commence from August 10.
Entry test at MA/MSc level will be conducted in Information Technology (IT), geographical information system, mathematics, earth and environmental sciences, applied hydrology, tourism and hospitality management, biochemistry and biotechnology, chemistry, the English language and literature, microbiology and molecular genetics, space science, zoology, social and cultural studies (sociology, gender studies), social work, physics, business administration, botany, quality and technology management, sports sciences, high energy physics, banking and finance, statistics and actuarial sciences and integrated mountain research.
Admissions in the rest of departments will be made on open merit basis without conducting entry test. The result of the entry test will be declared on August 21. The entry test will be conducted at BS level programmes in Information Technology (software engineering, computer science, information technology), microbiology and molecular genetics, clinical psychology and law (five-year programme). There will be no entry test for other disciplines.
