The Japanese ambassador to Pakistan, Seiji Ojima, called on Jamaat-i-Islami Ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmed at Mansoorah on Thursday. According to a press release by JI Media Cell, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting.
Japanese diplomat Kaya Hokuto and honorary Consul in Lahore Amer Shirazi were also accompanying the ambassador, while JI leaders present on the occasion included JI Director Foreign Affairs Abdul Ghaffar Aziz and JI Naib Ameer Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan. Following the meeting, the Japanese ambassador visited other sections of JI central offices in Mansoorah, besides the Jama Masjid of Mansoorah and Mansoorah Hospital.
