The University of Veterinary and Animal Science Lahore has initiated a certificate course in English Language to improve the communication skills of its students.
On the directions of Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz, the Institute of Continuing Education and Extension of the UVAS has designed the course for the university students to improve their English language and get skilled especially in spoken English and communication.
The course will focus on four basics skills of English language (speaking, writing, reading and listening), grammar and mechanics of writing. The course is of 16 contact hours and 20 students are being trained in the first batch. The participants have been divided into various groups for group discussions and language exercises.
