Khokhar takes oath as acting Chief Justice

Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar took oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan on Friday.. Khokhar will be Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan until Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar returns from a trip to perform Umrah.
Justice Qaim Jan Khan administered the oath, while Supreme Court Judges, Chief Justices of the Lahore Islamabad High Courts, Judges of the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench and Islamabad High Court, Government Law Officers and Advocates of Supreme Court attended the ceremony.
Raja Lehrasab Khan, Registrar of the Supreme Court, conducted the proceedings while other officers and staff of the Supreme Court of Pakistan were also present at the occasion.
