Some unknown miscreants on Friday blew up an electric tower, causing power suspension in Peshawar and some other parts of the province. According to a private TV channel, Geo News, unknown miscreants planted a bomb under the tower in Sheikh Mohammadi, Peshawar that went off causing power disruption.
The incident also suspended power supply to Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu and Dadu hel. An official of Peshawar Electric Supply Company said repair work would take six days while alternative steps would be taken to restore power supply in the affected areas.
