The Inter-Parliamentary dialogue will help maintain peace in Afghanistan as well as in the tribal areas of the Pakistan, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Mushahid Hussain Sayed said in the House on Friday. "The destiny of both the countries is inter-linked as regards peace and matters of common interests."
He said this while presenting a report of the Senate body on Foreign Affairs, Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas in the Upper House of the Parliament. He said a meeting of the committee was held in Islamabad recently. Mushahid said both sides discussed bilateral relations, adding that the meeting would help removing misunderstandings between the two countries.
