Khan Research Laboratories (KRL)'s defender Kamran Khan will face a one-match ban for his sending-off when Rawalpindi-based team drew 0-0 with Karachi Port Trust in the 29th encounter of Pakistan Premier Soccer League 2008. Islamabad-born Kamran played for Pakistan in 14th Asian Cup Qualifier 2006 and AFC Challenge Cup 2008 and his discharge forced KRL to play against KPT with 10-men for 65 minutes.
Kamran was given marching orders following second yellow card in the 25th minute (first being in 14th minute) shown by Fifa Referee Shafaat Habib. He was second player removed from the field in ongoing show after Pak Steel's Muhammad Akram. KRL, which finished third in four editions from 2004-07, will go into 10th August's KRL-NBP encounter without key fullback Kamran at Sharafi Goth's Korangi Baloch stadium, Karachi.
