'Illegally occupied land of Auqaf department to be vacated'

Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Haji Ehsan ud Din has said that lands of Auqaf department illegally occupied in the past would be vacated at all costs and on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister a strategy has been evolved in this regard.
While talking to the journalists, the minister said that Auqaf lands illegally occupied with the backing of influential persons in the past would be recovered and no pressure would be tolerated in this regard. He said that by giving special powers to every DCO, Auqaf department will take action and later legal action would be taken against the persons involved in this regard. He said that he will give briefing to Mian Shahbaz Sharif in this connection and action would be started without any delay according to the details of lands of the Auqaf department.
