The Karachi Port handled 110,352 tonnes of cargo including 82,903 tonnes of import, 27,449 tonnes of export cargo and 4,325 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The freights comprised of 60,004 tonnes of dry cargo including 49,398 tonnes of general cargo; 1,460 tonnes of coal; 9,146 tonnes of cement and 50,348 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Port Estoril, Wan Hai-302, Song Shan, Quetta, Banglar Maya and Mol Ability sailed out to sea during the reported period. Six vessels viz Northern Harmony, Apl Cairo, YM Inventive, Wan Hai-302, MT Johar and Royal Imperial are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Northern Harmony, Lalazar, Lafiah, Royal Imperial, YM Inventive and Apl Cairo expected to sail on Wednesday while another two vessels viz Caribbean Carrier and MT Johar are expected to sail on Thursday. Two vessels viz Apl Cairo and Salina due to arrive on Wednesday while another five ships namely Gulf Tiger, Cape Colorado, Francieses Schulte, Sima Sahba and Hanjin Chittagong are due to arrive on Thursday. Two ships namely Oriental Prutea and Keoyoung Prince are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 79,195 tonnes including 60,666 tonnes of import 18,529 tonnes of export cargo and 2,405 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Wednesday.
The cargoes comprised of 29,500 tonnes of furnace oil; 4,375 tonnes of palm oil; 5,629 tonnes of wheat; 1,260 tonnes of chemicals; 4,182 tonnes of iron ore; 2,245 tonnes of cement and 32,004 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz CV Maersk Delmont, MT Sinar Agra and MT Vema Ocean sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while two more ships namely CV Maersk Ohio and MT Transpot are expected to sail on Wednesday. A total of six ships namely MSC Zanzibar, Al-Mirqab, Sea Sky, Bernica, Leopard-B and Christina carrying containers, furnace oil and cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Eight vessels viz CV Maersk Ohio, Al-Mansourah, MV Alexi-1, MV Alabam Belle, MT Sinar Agra, MT Transport, MT Vema Ocean and Dubai Crown are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat, chemicals, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore respectively during the report period.
Three ships namely MSC Zanzibar, Al-Mirqab and Sea Sky carrying containers and furnace oil are expected to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Fotco Terminal respectively on Wednesday. Three vessels viz CV CMA CGM Eiffel, MV Hellenic Horizon and MT Yanaseni with containers, Iron ore and chemicals due to arrive on Wednesday while another four vessels viz CV Inori, CV Oocl Kobe, MV Faruke and MT Al-Soor-II are due to arrive on Thursday.
