Speaker of Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal hoisted national flag at its premises on Thursday. This was the maiden occurrence of the event in the history of the legislator body. Deputy Speaker Rana Mushood Khan and large number of provincial assembly members were present on the occasion.
The Speaker in the ceremony presented Rs 25,000 prize money to Mubashir Manzoor an employee of the assembly for making 50x75 feet canvass national flag.
