Jharoka Art Gallery here on Saturday opened an exhibition of exotic accessories by the Designer Amna Kardar. The two-day exhibition includes trendy and traditional jewellery items. Featuring a variety of exclusive jewellery styles, Amna has displayed over 30 designs studded with crystals reflecting a fusion of East and West that attracted a large number of women and fashion lovers.
Amna, the Lahore-based artist has exhibited her works at home and abroad to introduce exquisite jewellery items in diamond look with vibrant colours and intricate patterns. The designs rolled out by "Am Accessories" carry multi-cultural influence of traditional motifs in jewellery with added crystals that have a contemporary look, said Amna while talking to APP. Mostly the focus of the displayed items was on ear-rings, bracelets and pendants that are the essential part of jewellery.
Amna has studied jewellery designing from Pakistan School of Fashion Design, while few of her designs are also inspired by the traditional heritage. "Women always consider jewellery as an important segment of their appearance and such exhibitions provide them an opportunity to find perfect extravagant accessories," said a visitor.
