Can I dare to ask Mr Zardari; what young Bilawal could contribute to the crucial talks involving the political future of Pakistan, when the party heads met in Islamabad recently?. Let Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto's son complete his education, mature in age and learn the art of politics , instead of this photo session, which can only be termed as not good for Benazir's sympathisers.
It will serve no purpose, except create another controversy and damage young Bilawal's political future. How many times have we seen Sonia Gandhi or Late Rajiv Gandhi, make their school or college going children sit in crucial party meetings and then put them on TV screens at prime time.
The PPP is today dominated by a coterie of self seeking adventurers, with no ideological commitment to the party manifesto of their founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Late ZAB never allowed his siblings or friends to grab major portfolios, the only exception was Mumtaz Bhutto.
History has testified that ZAB made a mistake by promoting some opportunists. Politics is not a child's game, not even for Bilawal. He has a great future ahead, but needs a true mentor and a guide. With Musharraf gone, Zardari and his men are now on test. He has lost a lot of credibility on judges issue and needs to take stock of ground realities.
