Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) has announced opposition to resolution to be tabled in NWFP Assembly, supporting the candidature of Co-Chairman of PPPP, Asif Ali Zardari for Presidential elections.
This announcement was made by the Provincial President of PML(Q) and Deputy Opposition Leader in National Assembly, MNA Engr Amir Muqam, while addressing a press conference here at his residence on Sunday.
Engr. Amir Muqam said the PML(Q) earlier decided not to oppose election of Prime Minister and Chief Minister of NWFP in larger national interest. But ironically, Muqam continued, the coalition government failed in addressing the problems and therefore PML(Q) decided not to support the candidature of Asif Ali Zardari.
