CT2017 final: Sarfraz XI plea to nation

Pakistani players have appealed the cricket lovers to pray for the victory of Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final.

In a video message after their sensational victory against the host England, players thanked the fans for their love and support and also expressed determination in winning the champions title.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan will now face arch rivals India in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday.

Earlier, Pakistan were comfortably beaten by defending champions India in their opening game but shocked hosts England in the first semi-final on Wednesday.

After that opening defeat by India, Pakistan also beat number one-ranked side South Africa and Sri Lanka in the group stages before their eight-wicket victory over England to reach Sunday's final at The Oval.
