Parliamentarians from North West Frontier Province (NWFP) on Saturday called on Minister for Safron Najmuddin Khan and discussed upcoming presidential election, said a press release. During the meeting, all 15 MNAs and MPAs expressed solidarity and confidence in the presidential candidate of PPP Asif Ali Zardari with the hope that he would be elected with significant majority.
They said that Zardari is a symbol of federation and nobody could deny his sacrifices and of his family for the sake of democracy in the country, so he is the most suitable candidate for the office of the president. The parliamentarians include MNAs Amir Muqam, Tariq Khattak, Allauddin and MPAs Haji Hadiullah, Shahzad Mohiyuddin, Arshad Abidullah, Abdul Mateen, Zameen Khan, Anwar Khan, Bacha Saleh, Wajid Ali Shah, Waqar Khan, Zahir Shah Khan and Malik Hayat.
