Campaign against irrigation water thieves

Irrigation department has initiated a vigorous campaign against water thieves. On the direction of Irrigation Secretary Babar Hassan Bharwana, SE Irrigation Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal and XEN Muhammad Asghar Dogar met DPO Shahzad Sultan and sought his help in booking the water pilferers.
The DPO assured the Irrigation officers of his all-out support in bringing the water thieves to book. Irrigation Secretary Babar Hassan Bharwana issued this directive on the request of MNA Jamshed Ahmed Dasti, hoping the drive would help the tail farmers get their due share of irrigation water.
