Load-shedding was continued to observe during Sehar and Iftar timings in different parts of the city in clear negation of the government's policy. The inhabitants of Hayatabad, University Town, Charsadda Road Gulbela Sub-Division, Saddar, Kohat Road told newsmen here on Wednesday that power outages was observed during Sehar and Iftar timings in total violation of the Prime Minister's categorical policy statement banning power breakdown during the said period.
It is worth mentioning here that Pesco had announced that there would be no power outages during Sehar and Iftar timings, but the announcement was not being implemented as load shedding was being observed in several areas of Peshawar during the first of Ramazan.
