Investigation police Iqbal Town Division have recovered a girl, who was being forced to work as a prostitute by her husband and father-in-law. The police arrested her husband and father-in-law. As per details, three months back a girl (B) contracted love marriage with, Imran.
The parents of the girl got registered a case against Imran with Nawankot Police but the girl stated in court that she had married with Imran on her own free will and wanted to live with him. She stated that her parents had lodged a baseless FIR and resultantly the case was disposed off. Three days earlier, the girl told her father on phone that she was being forced to work as prostitute.
On the application of her father, Nawankot Police registered a case and SP Investigation Iqbal Town Khuram Shoaib constituted police team to arrest the culprits and to recover the girl. Police arrested husband and father-in-law of the victim and recovered the girl from their custody.
