Ramazan package: 121 flour sale points set up in Rahimyar Khan

Wheat flour is being provided in the district at subsidised rate of Rs 300 per 20 kilogram bag by the Food Department under the Ramazan package of the Punjab Government, said DCO Dr Raheel Siddiqui. Talking to newsmen here on Friday, he said that 121 sale points for flour had been set up in the district, and monitoring was being done to ensure the standard and quality of 'Atta' being supplied to the people.
Of the total 121 sale points, 54 are located in Tehsil Rahim Yar Khan, 21 in Tehsil Khanpur, 24 in Sadiqabad area and 22 in Tehsil Liaqatpur. The DCO said that apart from those sale points, scores of shopkeepers in various localities had been bound, with the co-operation of millers, to sell flour at the subsidised rate. Besides, officials had been assigned special duties to monitor the flour supply, he added.
