Pakistan People's Party (PPP) District Swabi has welcomed the election of PPP's Co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari as President of Pakistan and said that for the first time in the history of country a political worker has been elevated to the highest post.
In a press statement issued here on Sunday, the office bearers of PPP Swabi have termed the election of Asif Ali Zardari as a good omen for the future of the country.
The PPP Swabi District on Sunday held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president, Haji Naimat Khan after election of Asif Ali Zardari as President of Pakistan. The party members observed that President and Prime Minister of same party would result in stability of the country and in early resolution of problems being faced by the nation.
