President, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Tanvir Ahmed Sheikh, on behalf of the business community of Pakistan, has congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on winning presidential election with massive majority.
In a statement on Sunday, he expressed full confidence in the abilities of Zardari and said that it is indeed a great historic moment that the nation's major political parties have come to common terms and have ultimately recognised that the unity is the need of the time.
He hoped that all the political forces have learnt lesson from their past and will jointly work for the prosperity of motherland. Sheikh believed that Zardari is the right person elected as the new president of Pakistan. Pakistani nation hopes for good co-ordination between the parliament and the president. The FPCCI President said the country would make rapid socio-economic development after the election of Zardari as president.
He said that Pakistan has been blessed with all required human and physical resources, the optimum potential of which, under the able and dynamic leadership of Zardari will soon be tapped. Further, he hoped that Zardari has exhibited tremendous maturity and success on the political front. He further hoped that the new president would also transform the economy of Pakistan towards betterment.
