Asif Ali Zardari's presidency will usher in an era of economic stability and prosperity, said several members of the National Assembly belonging to the PPP on Monday. The Parliamentarians included Abdul Qayyum Jatoi, Moazzam Ali Jatoi, Jamshed Ahmed Dasti and Mohsin Ali Qureshi.
They said Asif Ali Zardari had proved his credentials as a statesman and his presidency would bring about political and economic stability in the country. Referring to Zardari, these MNAs observed that none could be more aware of the value of democracy than the one who underwent the ordeals of incarceration for long 12 years.
They observed that the nation needed such a steadfast and farsighted person for the prestigious office of the President of Pakistan. The legislators expressed the optimism that a bright future lied ahead of the motherland and the nation would fully benefit from the experience and sagacity of President-elect Asif Ali Zardari.
