Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) have approved Lahore's Pak Elektron (PEL) request of change-of-venue of two matches in Pakistan Premier Soccer League 2008 after Eidul Fitr. Upto 14 teams are showing their ability in the 182-match event with all the teams have to play 26 matches : half of them on home soil.
PEL picked up Garhi Shahu's Railway Stadium for eight of their home matches and Raiders FC Ground (Faisal Town) for other five. Raiders FC's turf, that hosted PEL-KRL tie, was later on rejected by Match Commissioner Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar and PEL had to welcome Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy in hurriedly-arranged pretty Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) Ground, 900 metres away from Faisal Town's venue.
