Warid Telecom recently launched a revolutionary new Public Call Office (PCO) scheme in ZEM Pocket PCO. This is a part of Warid's ongoing effort to promote corporate social responsibility through cultivating job creation while also focusing on ease for the industry entrepreneurs.
The Zem Pocket PCO allows the use of a standard GSM handset to be used as a mobile payphone. This helps waive the expenses of costly investment in setting up a shop and PCO sets and allows a single cell phone to sell airtime to prospective users at high human traffic areas with discounted rates instead of waiting for users to patronise the PCO shop.
In short, it is a PCO on the move. The service will be originally launched in Lahore and will follow to Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta and Hyderabad.
Users will have the feature of pre-determining call amounts to have the ability to automatically terminate calls when the expiration tariff rate is reached. Both the customers and PCO owners will have the visibility of called units and charges during and after the call.-PR
