At least two persons have been killed and three others injured in a gas cylinder blast here, police said. A gas cylinder exploded in the kitchen of Khawaja Haveli of Mohallah Bolya shortly before 'Iftar', killing Shaheen Bibi w/o Mehboob Qadri and Insh Maqsood (6) s/o Maqsood Rathore Qadri, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kotli Ghulam Akbar Chaudhry said.
Three women were also injured in the blast including the president of PPP district Kotli Sadia Maqsood, Mrs. Naseer and Mrs. Imdad. Ghulam Akbar said that Sadia Maqsood was immediately rushed to PIMS Islamabad in a critical position while other two injured women were shifted to the nearby hospital. Those killed and injured were the members of Naseer Ahmed Rathore Qadri's family who is the Central President of PPP Azad Kashmir Traders' Wing.
